Sabres are currently sitting in 27th place, and only 5 points out of dead last.

I can't believe what I'm seeing here so far.

The Sabres actually are playing like a pretty decent team right now. They are being aggressive, generating good scoring chances, and controlling the play in the opponents end of the ice.

Surely this can't be because they let Leopold go?

How come OV gets away with crashing into players before they play the puck? Not just tonight but it seems like he does that a lot and never get's called. Doesn't the player have to play the puck before you blast into him? Interference?

Now this is what drives me fucking crazy. Tonight they are aggressive their positional play is very good they are winning the battles for the puck. PK looked very solid and they cleared the zone with sharp crisp passes. They even played smart with the gaps and pinching !!

Someone please tell me why these guy's can't play like this all the time, it's like a different team they must be bi polar or something it's just nut's.

I'm telling you Boss, they play well enough to make sure they get to 9th place. This happens all the time...long stretches of horrible, uninspired hockey, and then all of a sudden they look like they can beat anyone.

And basketball is dead to me, but good for them.
