Everybody is banged up at this time of the year, here are the Flames that are either out or highly questionable for the upcoming series against the Canucks:

Bouma - reported Broken hand by TSN radio in Vancouver. reportedly out a month by same source
Diaz - Wills says he doesn't think he will be back anytime soon
Byron - suffered setback, hasn't practiced with the main group for at least a week
Ramo - reported Groin by Friedman on HNIC. timeline unknown

I see both tsn's Dave Reid and permanent perm wearing Craig Button have gone all in with the flames in the first round and both made comments that the Flames have the best first line in hockey

i guess the respect level for the Sedins on a national level is still low as can be ... playoffs right ... they dont show up, right?

i can see them doing some damage against a flames d that is rolling only 4 dmen

theyre fresh for a change and they actually have a viable second line offensive threat for once (aside from Kesler v the Preds in 2011 ... what else was there?) ... least ice time of the top 15 point producers in the league this season






/this didnt get enough love ... yes its v edmonton ... but its classic sedinery ... great to see this late in a season for a change

I am a little concerned about all these pundits picking the Flames over the Canucks - I give an edge to the Canucks in goaltending, defense, forwards, and a big edge regarding special teams. I did pick the Flames over the Canucks in 7 in Cobie's thread, but that was definitely picking with my heart.
