Another stat to watch, Doughty was under 30 minutes TOI which is good. 27:59 was the actual figure but the closer to 25 minutes the better.

Another time on ice time stat, Versteeg with the least amount of time on ice. Played 9:10 and the next highest was Clifford at 9:40. Not sure if Versteeg's injury impacted playing time.

Don't know if anyone picked it up but after Carter's 300th Doughty grabbed the puck from the empty net and gave it to him. Class act.

Actually it was Kopi that picked up the puck out of the empty net. Either way, Kopi/Doughty/Quick are the true leaders of the franchise, and will be for the next 10 years.

Good catch, I caught a glimpse and thought it was Doughty. Would expect no less from Kopitar.

Oh snap!

I had to look up his stats just to see where he is at, he will either match or barely pass last season's totals. The positive is he is only a -3 this season compared to finishing -17 last season.

Being a minus player on this team is tough to begin with, even more alarming when you're approaching -20. Not sure how that happened, I'd have to research and analyze but I won't.

Also saw his last (and only) 30+ goal season, which was 9 years ago - distant memory now, seems like forever ago.
