Canucks Release Regional Broadcast Schedule - Vancouver Canucks - News

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks in partnership with Rogers Sportsnet announced their regional broadcast schedule today for the 2011.12 season. A total of 57 games are scheduled for broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet plus an additional four pre-season games. All 82 regular season Canucks games will be televised in 2011.12 with 25 national and 57 regional broadcasts.

The regional broadcast schedule includes 49 games on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific and eight games on Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey, the Sportsnet ONE companion channel. Every game will be broadcast in high definition. The first Rogers Sportsnet Pacific broadcast of the 2011.12 season begins on Monday, October 10th at 4:00 PM when Vancouver visits the Columbus Blue Jackets. Pre-season Rogers Sportsnet broadcasts begin on Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 PM when the Canucks host the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena. Each and every Rogers Sportsnet game will feature play-by-play announcer John Shorthouse alongside analyst John Garrett and host Dan Murphy.

Vancouver’s regular season broadcast schedule on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey will feature 18 divisional match-ups and four games against original six opponents including a January 7th rematch against Stanley Cup Final opponent the Boston Bruins.

*The Canucks and the National Hockey League have announced a change in start time on Monday, January 2nd when Vancouver hosts the San Jose Sharks. The game start time has changed to 5:00 PM PT from 7:00 PM PT.
