Can't decide on Flex

Should I start Montee Ball tonight who's scored 14+ in 3/4 games against the 15th ranked rush D or Steve Smith who scored his first TD in weeks recently against the Jets 28th ranked Pass D?

To me that is actually a pretty tough one..............my first thought is Ball but he still has to fight Moreno for PT. Smith...............at least you know he will get targeted....................I guess I'd go with Ball and hope it's a blowout.

Yeah either one of them could go for 0-12, but I think I have a little more faith in Ball, he's been more consistent recently

DEN is without a doubt doing 2 things every game, regardless of score right now:

1) getting Moreno rest so he is fresh for playoff push
2) getting Ball reps to see if he can become the every-down back next year, which I am assuming he was drafted to be that guy

Roll with Ball tonight over Steve Smith. My issue with Smith is that it seems like he will get 3-4 targets on the first drive, then disappear for most of the game afterwards. Also, if DEN takes a big lead early, they will surely feed Ball a bunch of carries
