I only got to watch the third, seems like it was a good game until then 
'Canes ran out of gas in the thrid...
(yeah, I'm going mega-homer and pulling the "travelling on a back to back to a team waiting in their own barn who were really pissed off after a bad game" routine
)
lessons learned...
- Jagr still has mad game (and a stupid salute)
- Giroux is a bad mofo, and is really fast, and should be in the discussion when conversations about the leagues elite come up. He is ready to join that group. McBain took a bad, bad, Junior B angle at him and Giroux punked him easily, and was gone like a rocket. And the kid has great finish.
- Boucher needs offensive help. He cam out WAY to far for no apparent reason on the one goal, and Jagr just made him look foolish for doing so. Who does he think he is? Timmy Thomas? Get back in your net, Boucher.
- Cam Ward will play the next game against Philly regardless of back to back or not. Book it.
- Bryz bounced back nicely for a dude with zero confidence in himself (allegedly)
- My sons friends mom who's house we were over last night (which is why I only really got to watch the 3rd + highlights) is really hot. We may need to go over there more.
- Hartnell will get more points than he deserves this year playing with Jagr (fantasy bitch)
- Eric Staal can at times look grossly overrated and overpaid
- Skinner is still dreamy
