best part of the game (aside from Cole's goal of ccourse), was that freakin' save by Ward.
Had great seats with a really good view of that.
How the F did he get that???

The crowd was awesome at that moment. 18K+ in the house assumed that was a goal.

First a loud cheer from the Flyers faithful mixed with a 'Canes fans groan of disappointment...
then an awkward second of silence...
then exactly the opposite reactions once everyone realized what just happened.

that was an awesome game biz.. i was thoroughly impressed with your faithful.. aside from the fact that 'lets go flyers' was the louder chant, unless you guys had your vuvuzela leading it

your goal horn / celebration drives me nuts though.. very very annoying IMO.. not nearly as bad as chicago's, but its pretty bad

that save by ward was incredible.. one of the best saves i've ever seen.. it wasn't like the usual highlight real save where the shooter could've shot somewhere other than right at the goalie, carle shot away from him and he reached out and snagged it.. greattt save

and sport, i know you love bob, but boosh is the better goalie currently.. and seeing as how we're in win now mode, boosh should be playing, not bob.. he might be part of the future, but right now, boosh is the starter.. hopefully bob will stop being a nomad when the puck comes close to him (last night was especially bad) and the soft goals (2nd goal last night might've been his softest yet) will be limited

until then, it should be boosh's show

agreed....both goalies would of let up last night......i am saying build off of bob he needs the experience now....bouch wouldn't of won last night that's here say anyway....bob was standing on his head after the first two....some of the saves bob made no way in hell bouch would of stopped.....

i dont disagree, after the 1st two goals bob did play really well.. but giving up 2 goals in the first, what, 5 minutes, is a bad way to get a team going at the start of the game.. especially when the 2nd one is so bad

unfortunately after giving up 2 goals early, the defense mailed it in.. i didnt think the forwards looked bad at all yesterday, just didn't take a lot of open shots (sat behind ward for 2/3 periods and could see the open lanes)
