Update...

Graham James is under arrest in Winnipeg, the Calgary Sun has learned.

A source close to the investigation told the newspaper the former junior coach would be flying in from Mexico today to immediately turn himself in to authorities in Winnipeg where a Canada-wide warrant was recently issued for his arrest stemming from sexual abuse allegations made by several of his former players including Theo Fleury.

James' Winnipeg-based lawyer, Even Roitenberg, did not immediately return calls.

Winnipeg police met James when he flew into Toronto and escorted him back to that city.

He remains in custody.

OKay. I RTFA. I thought they were finally getting around to charging him with the Initial crimes. Didn't realize he was already charged and sentenced.

I don't know who this man is (meaning I'm not defending him) and by NO WAY do I condone any type of child molestation (I shouldn't even have to say that, but what I will say next will not be received kindly by many).... but, if people are born straight and gay, couldn't some people be born being attracted to children?

wooof strong statement . i think its more appropriate to compare child molesters to serial killers rather then homosexuals.

Possibly this is true.

Studies show however that pedophiles have often been subject to abuse themselves and in their mind don't see the issue with their crimes until they are caught.

That being said, whatever the cause of pedophilia, your comparison is flawed. Straight and gay people engage in acts with other consenting individual adults. Children, the victims of Graham James and other child abusers, lack the knowledge and/or legal standing to consent to the abuses of these people. Herein lies the difference between a criminal and an active sexual adult (gay or straight). For that reason they must be legally segregated from the population without prejudice.
