Hopefully not to serious. I guessing a concussion.

Concussion? He left the ice under his own power. Granted he put very little weight on one of his legs. He looked like he was in a lot of pain when they gave a quick view of just inside the walkway. Calvin looked like he needed help getting up.

That's it. I've had enough. I want Nino & Cizikas to be held out the rest of the damn tournament. In 3 days my team has lost two players probably for the rest of the year.

The way he went into the boards head first, I thought it might be a concussion because nothing else didn't seem to look like it was hurting. I must of missed him putting little weight on his leg (maybe too much to drink). :) I've seen players come off on their own with a slight concussion and it is only when on the bench the staff relizes.

it looked like a knee twist (hopefully just a twist) to me.

Russia not breaking any stereotypes in this game so far.
powerplay has them taking turns each trying to break in 1 on 4 into the zone.
needless to say, not so successful. lotsa of after-whistle scrums, though.

BS call on Kassian IMO. They weren't even calling 2 until the player stayed down. I thought that hit from behind (on Leblanc I think?) by a Czech player after a Canadian goal where he tried to put him head first through the boards was far dirtier but fortunately the result wasn't as bad. One thing I will say is that it was classy not to inform the Canadian bench of the call or put it up on the clock until after the Czech player was carried off the ice and fans had a chance to give him a cheer. Sadly some fans may not have shown the same respect had they known what the call would be. While their frustrations may not exactly have been directed at the player, they may not have taken a break from booing the call in order to give him a cheer.

Looking like the New Years Eve game between Canada and Sweden is going to have big stakes on the line.
The Vodka drinkers can't even do Canada a favour.

Oh man, Russia had a great chance to get on the board and the guy wiffed badly with the yawning cage.
