Olivier Roy in net again. Visentin likely to get Norway tomorrow.
CZE played yesterday, so the "wear 'em down" strategy might be particularly effective.

Go Canada Go!!!

Does Canada really need to wear them down? From a talent standpoint they've got just about every other team in the tourney beat.

After watching the US beat the Fins in OT I think Canada is the better team. The USA also lost Morin & Nelson.

Kassian missed the net by five feet from the center of the slot...Yikes.

Kassian needs to do WAY better than that.
Canada building some pressure now, anyways.

Looks like CZE thinks they can win this game 1-0. All right, Cizikas is running the goalie.

Shots on goal 13-2 Canada. I sure like the hustle and work ethic of this Canadian team so far in the tourney.

Duthie just called the first CZE goal a softie by Roy, I disagree, it was a perfect shot. Maybe Roy lost his net a little, but still that was a wicked wrister.

Slow start indeed, seems to be the norm for this team. I'm sure Roy would want that first shot back even if it was a great shot.
They came back well and the PP is really rolling.
Czech's we're fine with you taking penalties.

Now Canada has to come out in the second and be physical to wear them down and deliver the knock out punch.

Work ethic is great.

GO CANADA GO!

Canada's powerplay is now 5 for 7 through 4 periods. wow.

man, I wonder if Ellis' game will translate to the bigs.
he's so dominating on the PP, and strong 5 on 5 in both zones, too.

Kassian just killed some dude.
no call... coulda been 2, coulda been 5 and a game.
Kassian looked like an early Lindros there.

Pierre says he didn't hit the head at all, and on replay it looks like he's right.
