I miss atdhe.net :(

Thanks for the updates Dash. Question, is Subban's little brother more humble than his older bro or the same?

I saw on the OHL website a couple of days ago there's a kid who's been granted special status to play next year as a 15 year old. I think his name is Ekberg or something like that. Is he playing for Canada in this tourney? What if anything have you heard about him.

Canada rallies to tie it up with three goals in the final 10 minutes.

10 minute OT period just starting.

States just won it in OT...5-4 final.

The Americans will play the Swedes for gold. Heck of a comeback by the Canadians to force OT (scored the tying goal with the goalie pulled).

Congrats to the States on the win.

I will say this, the US hockey development program is certainly working well, they certainly are developing players who are highly skilled and great skaters.

Do the Canadians send their best players to this tournament?

They send players whose teams have been eliminated from the playoffs or who didn't make the playoffs. Not all of the best U-18 players are sent for Canada.

USA! USA! USA! USA! I'm really thrilled to see our younger teams doing so well. The development programs are really starting to kick in. Awesomeness. :usa2:

Another interesting note - 16 year old Seth Jones of the US team is the son of former NBA player Popeye Jones.

You just wanted to post "Popeye Jones".
