watching the replay here. is it me or does Subban look very unsteady on his saves. not technical at all just reactive.

he honestly reminds me of Luongo

plays stationary/the percentages to let the puck hit him and on shots from the point he seems so late to pick up the puck in traffic

- wait, does Slovakia have a Jason Mraz or a Bruno Mars. either way, fedoras are in order.
- Camara penalty was absolute fucking garbage. it was a perfect hit.
- Scheifele had a rough night. knee on knee hit, then blindsided. glad he's OK
- Ty Rattie has been waiting for that back-door play all tournament.
- Macinnon / Druin had a Sedin-like shift late in the 2nd. fun to see.
- I think Strome was the best forward tonight.
- Macinnon move late in the 3rd (from behind the net) ... holy sweetness.

Canada always seems to have one uphill game to get them firing on all cylinders. Coming back from 3-1, losing 2 players, and having to kill off a couple of majors seems to have done the trick. The last half of the game showed the first sustained domination I've seen. and it was good.

It might have been precautionary (game was pretty much in the bag at that point). Pretty sure that there would be something on TSN at this point and there's nothing.

They said with about 10 minutes to go in the game, Strome took a penalty & went into the boards awkwardly. Did he serve the penalty? They said he didn't play at all after that.

Apparently TSN interviewed him after the game & he said the team was happy with the way they handled adversity so I guess he's fine.
