Well word is that Kolin Hill has left the program. So much for having a full 85 schollys. Hill had a lot of potential too. He was a great 3rd down pass rusher. Not sure if he'd ever be a three-down player. But this hurts depth and defensive speed.

it has but it has nothing to do with kelly. These players know what they are getting into when they pick ND. Its about Education 1st then football. Now maybe kelly is recruiting kids that shouldn't be at ND yes but he still has to get top recruits and hope they can stay active.

I think the one thing the program may need to do is provide a better or larger academic support staff for the team, as this is happening frequently under Kelly.

That would be new and too bad but if he leaves then he leaves, it opens up more another spot for this class. I would take the trade off if it leads to an elite DE in the 2016 class.

I think his gpa is too low to play but not so low as to be suspended. His dad said he needed a B+ in a class but got a B- that probably bumped his cumulative below an acceptable level. So he remains on scholarship but can't play. He was already down 4 games for weed.

And we wonder why we have trouble competing for National Titles these days.

I agree with the news on Brent moving to RB, that may mean that they are only looking at one RB in this class unless they feel Folston will leave after this season. It also makes me believe that Bryant will be leaving.

In all seriousness, this is not a bad move. It frees up a big log jam at receiver. I am not sure Brent was going to get a lot of reps at WR with Fuller, Carlisle, Tori Hunter, Corey Robinson, Corey Holmes, our TE's, including Jones who will be more like a receiver and some of our incoming freshmen.

yes Im some what sure he is leaving. Kelly did say he would take him back but he would need to show that he takes his education serious. That kinds says that Bryant didn't really care about school. He just wanted to play football.

I was just shocked to see Brent at RB. This kid was suppose to be a Big time WR and saw himself in the Dog house for being very inconsistent at practice and not giving 100% every day.

yes but it shows we missed big time at WR with him. He was a Top WR prospect. The good news it shows he is very athletic to change positions. I wonder what he thinks about it. If he doesn't like the move I can see him leaving soon.

Not sure you can call it a miss. He's here, and didn't crack the rotation. If you're saying we should have gone for someone better, well, yeah. We haven't had a Floyd type receiver in a while. All our guys are good, but not one of them commands special attention from the defense.

- Freshmen who Kelly can see get playing time is TE Jones, CB Crawford, CB Coleman and WR Boykins. Freshmen with the best chance is the FG kicker LOL. Besides him Jones will battle for the #1 Spot at TE. Kelly said he is legit.
-Fuller is the 1st one up to replace Bryant on PR and KR.
- The player who has made the most significant physical leap this summer, Kelly said, is sophomore cornerback Nick Watkins. He was also a rising player throughout spring practice

I agree with you. I do think Fuller is a Great WR. I have him in my Top 5 this year but yes he isn't that M. Floyd type player. We do miss a guy like that. I was hoping Robinson was going to be close to that. He shouldn't lose a jump ball. His weakness is his hands. not great and not bad just avg hands. Drops a few.
