I watched him in junior with the Tigers and I never quite understood all the hype. He's a pre-lockout defenseman that struggles in the post-lockout NHL.

I to this day cannot figure that deal out. You know Chicago is in cap hell or will be there soon, why take an overpaid stiff off their hands and throw in your first rounder from the most recent draft - a guy you drafted solely because he was from Minnesota to appease the fans.
