If Martin was indeed one of the top 4 on Dallas' board, then why did it seem like they were doing their best to trade the pick? If someone is top 4 on your board when you pick at #16 then you jump on it and don't look back. Not take every last second before you submit your pick. Sounds like positive spin to me...

I highly doubt those were the de facto top 4 but the top 4 they saw as a realistic chance at being there at 16.
It's called, weighing your options.
I get that, but still, if Martin is one of your top 4 realistic choices, why wait till the last second?

I was responding more to UK saying they are trusting the scouts more, If they are really trusting the scouts more, and Martin is top 4 on the board, why not just run with it?
I guess at the root of it, I just don't buy into anything a shill like Calvin Watkins says.
