I've never seen a RB with as little as instincts as Hillman. I'm not even sure that sentence is written correctly. That's what Hillman does to me.

He is still a kid OC 24 .. We had a child was his biggest problem .. he has improved each year .. someone all the same needs to tell him trying to run over people is never going to happen in the NFL give it up or be gone .

I was never the guy's biggest fan, but as long as he comes in cheap I don't see the harm in it. Having a pair of backs who are familiar with the offense is important. We need to add depth through the draft either way. I agree with those who voiced some frustration about his instincts. Hillman up the middle on first down is a good way to bring up 2nd and 10, 11, 12, etc...It just doesn't work. Where he has immense value to this offense is around the edges and catching out of the backfield or in the flat. I'm not against having him back, and I think I've been one of his bigger critics here on SportsHoopla.

Don't get me going on Montee Ball. Guy is garbage on and off the field. I have no issues with Hillman at all. Comes back cheap and it's all good.

Hillman has been trash thus far, but we have no RB depth and a new OL. I don't really have a problem with him on a one year deal, but he is gonna have to compete with a draft pick for the #2 job. A guy like Jonathan Williams in the mid rounds.

Of course I'd still love Booker at RB, but would appear we aren't going RB early.
