Potency can be measured in many different ways. For example, a really shitty lineman can be a potent detractor for the team. A potent Orangutan doesn't really affect a dog much. Potent BO can be off-putting or comforting, depending on your disposition. The use of the word potent, should always be accompanied with a specific designation.

Everything has Sean Payton's stamp on it. He thinks the Safety position has depth with Skinner and Devon. Time's a wasting.

We worked out Anthony Bolton (didn't sign him) and Jonathan Sutherland (didn't sign him either) then cut Caden Sterns a few days later. I think there is more to it then just feeling like he has depth. We are actually a little thin at S with Turner-Yell likely starting the season on the PUP. I do think JL Skinner stepping up this offseason is a big deal.
Remember, while good in coverage Sterns is not much in run support, something I think is mandatory for Payton with his S's. Between that and the injuries. Welll.....
Reminds me of KJ Hamler release last year right before PreSeason started after he couldn't stay healthy and then had the heart issue.

Feel awful for him. He was so good as a FR at Texas and then just never stayed healthy last year.
I can't stop getting the image of him crying being carted off in week 1 last year as I hope that is not the last time he saw the field but it looks like it could be possible?
Omar Bolden had the same thing happen to him after winning the Super Bowl. Bears signed him, shoulder was a mess and nobody ever picked him up after the Bears waived him due to his injury.
