REALLY, that shows your lack of football knowledge, PSU got a royal beatdown by INDIANA last week and came alive to beat UM this week, their offense is growing, their FRESHMAN QB gets the play, has been TAUGHT the offense, and is showing improvement.

I thought you said Christian Hackenberg was showing improvement... indicating he was being taught by the HC real good.

I look up his stats from the IU beatdown and compare them to the win over UofM last night... and this is what I find...

vs IU 30/55 for 340 yds. 54.5%... 3 TD, 0 INT and 124.5 RAT
vs UofM 23/44 for 305 yds. 52.3%... 3 TD, 2 INT and 123.9 RAT

Them numbers ain't better....

What the hell are you talking about I have always been one on here to say the only record that matters is the one at the end of the season....that is why the SEC is such a joke when it comes to rankings...they have more voctories over top 25 team because one loses to another and they are both then ranked high in the top 25. Ranking do not matter anyway, i thought we already agreed to that on another thread????

Teams vs 82 win loss record:
Team record year before 9-3
69-55-1 55% played one 10+ win team and 4 teams with .500 or below record lost bowl game
Teams we beat record: 49-51
Teams that beat us: 29-7

Teams vs 12 win loss record:
Team record year before 10-3
92-72 56% played 2 teams with 10+ wins 4 teams with .500 or below records lost bowl game

This is the best I can do in comparing the seasons,last year was just a tough as the 1982 season...we have killed this debate.

What is absurd about it???? Holgorsen has said its on him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is protecting his players by taking the heat. He knows they are young and not very good, no sense killing any confidence they have by their HC pissing on them to the media. Good coaches do that.
