Bye Week 2016

1. Huskers is 5-0!!!!

It took us 12 game last year to get that. (I know play here, stop there should have been better.)

2. Glad the bye week is here. Get some guys healthy! (Tanner, Westercamp, Carter, Ozigbo, etc..)
Carter arm, elbow scare me the most.

3. I will watch the Indiana game from last week to see how they got that win. The spread for Hoosier game this week against tOSU (OSU favorite by 31 to 32 points)

Game at IU in two weeks could be a repeat of last years game at Illinois. Huskers going into foreign territory against a historically bad team and they get caught looking ahead or their pants down. IU is a team that can catch you off guard and late in game you realize you still have work to do.

Other than Maryland, Indiana is the only big X team we haven't played yet. Yeah they got the win vs MSU it that's not a real big deal anymore. We should have a better gauge after they play buckie. I'm still coming to terms with worrying about an Indiana game

Next up Indiana
Indiana has to go through Ohio State while Nebraska gets to heal.
The Indiana QB(Lego?) is not a runner, sort of a Wes Lunt type.
Their kicker is the real deal.
Stop that little wide receiver Paige.
Indiana has a Devine at RB also. A very good back. Will pose a serious challenge. Not sure if Nebraska can stop him
Their D line seemed to explode off the line, very quick. Looks like a lot of screens again
Indiana Strength passing game is going against Nebraska strength, the D backs
Nebraska strength passing game is going against Indiana Weakness pass defense

Have to wait on Nebraska injury reports and what Indiana does at Ohio State,

Somewhere in the 60s to 80s I think. I have it written down somewhere. I know I made a comment that I was hoping this year's defense would crack the top 60 for improvement. I really want top 40 but I know what I am up against.

New to these forums, popping in to voice that i am still scared/concerned. Every game feels like the other shoe is about to drop... these 4th quarter shine is just tough to swallow. We need to play all 4 quarters well in all 3 phases! Thank god we have time to heal and watch some film.

I have a bad feeling on this. No real info on it. "Just a elbow injury" To me on the game (I'm not a doctor) but it looks like a dislocated elbow. that can take a minimum 2 to 3 weeks to as many as 4 to 5 weeks.

I hope I'm wrong!
