my old TV finally bit the dust, so I'm shopping around for a new one.
I watch local NFL broadcasts - some of the channels have been problematic over the last year or so. Those stations have digital transmission towers about 20 miles away from me.
Looking at antennaweb.org, I noticed that all the stations I'm interested in now have the newer ATSC 3.,0 transmissions available. I also noticed that those signals are being sent from only about 5 miles away from me.
Based on the little reading I've done, ATSC 3.0 is currently only being included on relatively high end TVs costing $1000 or more. Does anyone have any insight into when this might become more generally available?
