Ffs, sure he had 3 A's...against a team that just lost to the Sharks who are on target to be a top worst team in history

All you have to do is look at his game log to get an idea of what's going on.

He got 6 of his 11 points (55%) in a 5 day span last week. Before those 3 games:
8GP/2G/2A .50 PPG
After those 3 games:
11GP/2G/8A .91 PPG

Again, apart from one assist (Kempe) they were all secondaries and nothing burgers.

Bigger issue is he has 2 goals, scored on 10/11 (Avalanche, the deflected goal) and 10/27 (Coyotes, excellent goal) so basically 1 goal in a month. He hit a few posts this season, but so does everyone else (Spence did against the Flyers too) so that doesn't mean anything to me.

I definitely see him being faster and more assertive this season, but that still isn't translating into goals no matter how you look at it. Great example why IDGAF about Corsi, Cocksy, or whatever stupid analytic someone wants to throw at me. The one stat that matters? Epic fail since he came into the league.

Dude seems to have an aversion to goals, all he did was pad his stats last week.
