I do like the guy - He looks like a playmaker that we desperately need on defense.

Dorsey wasn't once considered a 1st Rd pick like Burfict... was he? But I'll give you that one about DeDe.

No. Dorsey didn't have much upside according to scouts..... But Burfict is intriguing. As you mentioned, he was a 'can't miss' prospect at one point of his college career and then the wheels came off. I have to admit that he reminds me of Odell in the way he seems to have a feel for the game out there, but hopefully that's where the comparisons stop. Here's to hoping the kid actually fills his potential!

Yeah, burfict got a lot of bad advice, and got some bad pub as well. I can't find the article, but I remember reading the pac 10(12) fired 3 refs after an investigation that showed they specifically were targeting penalties against Burfict because of his "rep".

He also tried to "bulk" up his last year and gained between 10-15 lbs, but didn't do it the right way, and it just ended up being all crap fat and slowed him down. Ran a 5.0 at the Combine. Since the combine he lost all the weight, and is back to doing what he did in college: Fly to the football.

But Zimmer says he aint on Rey's level yet......Give him some time if Rey is saying he is ahead of where he was then Zimmer is trying to keep Rey's confidence level high.....We cut Burfict he gets signed by the Ravens.....
