Absolutely. That appropriate return differs for each guy. For example, we should expect just shy of a king's ransom for Beltre.

IMO you are over-valuing Beltre.

I guess it depends on the team you view as a trade partner, and I don't know which one you consider as a probable contender.

Which team (s) would you think are prime for him, and what would they be willing to give up to get him?

I know it's still a tad early yet. Just getting your opinion from a speculation standpoint.

Not sure. He has been getting hits similar to earlier in the year but not with real solid contact.

I may have been over doing it a bit with the hyperbole there, but Detroit could definitely use him. Their farm's not much to lust after though, if I recall correctly. Washington could have a problem with Zimmerman's plantar fasciitis hanging around.

Yeah, the Tigers system seems to be a mess, at least from the little I've read. Maybe you're on to something with the Nationals though.
