The NFL is set to release the 2014 Season Schedule on April 17th.
In our previous poll of Week 2, we selected the Kansas City Chiefs as our home opener. I adjusted some votes based upon what people said (that they voted wrong) - I didn't delete the vote, just added one, as it didn't change the overall result.
Kansas City at Home - 6 Votes
Chicago at Home - 3 Votes
Denver on the Road - 2 votes
St. Louis on the Road - 2 votes
Washington at Home - 1 vote
Arizona or the Giants on the Road - 1 vote each
Dallas, Giants, Raiders, or Saints on the Road - 3 Combined Votes
Assuming we open up against Seattle and follow it up at home, who do you want to face on Sunday, September 21st?
Considerations: Worst case scenario, IMO, is a 1-1 start, so no need for a gimme, but avoiding 1-2 would be good. Travel distance is there on the poll, but probably not a major factor, as we had ten days between Week 1 and Week 2. That actually might incentivize going as far away as we can, as we'll be most rested.
Again, not a guess what it will be, what you want it to be.
