Watching the game last night, he made a few bad pinches and Pavelec along with the stone hands of Olli Jokinen saved Buffy's butt on several occasions.

Buff's numbers had a lot to do with him having the green light to join the rush and charge the net whenever he wanted, and a lot to do with Tobias Enstrom bailing him out. It's one thing to let guys like Coffey and Niedermayer act as rovers, they can actually skate. Byfuglien is a poor skater so if he's not producing on his pinches and rushes, he's probably getting burned. I'll give him respect for the season he's been having, but at the end of the day I think he's just a big giant winger who shouldn't be asked to play defense. An underrated guy like Enstrom can only hide him for so long.
