I'm loving BTN this morning too. The thing that always amazes me is how Michigan and Ohio State fans care only what happens in that one game per year. They were discussing a poll where over 85ish percent or so of Michigan fans said they'd happily lose every other game as long as they beat ohio state.

Gerry Dinardo was going off on it, funny stuff.

ok using the logic of those 85ish percent fans of michigan they would rather go 1-11 and beat ohio st. instead of 11-1 lose to ohio st. and go to the big 10 championship game with a chance of going to a bcs bowl!

michigan fans need to use logic on this one!

I miss those too, but do not want to trade the rest of the season for those wins though.

I think the difference is there was respect between OU/NU without hate. tOSU/UM just hate each other...with grudging respect if any.

And thankee BRS. With the Blackshirts being handed out it kind of got me excited. And by handed out, I really mean shutting the Spartans the heck down

Ohio State fans are the same way. Didn't really believe it, I thought maybe the fanbases just overstate it to make a point of how big the rivalry is, but no. Like the Buckeye fan in my office. He's a very intelligent dude, hard worker, and fun to talk to and he straight up says in all sincerity that he doesn't care what happens as long as the Bucks beat Michigan. He says Big Ten championships and everything else is nice, but not as important as beating Michigan.

Son of a guns hate each other in a very meaningful way.
