That would be really cool. IMO while it isn't as cool as the Redskins, it's still the only real suitable name change. They could go back to the spear n feather helmets, and/or come double W perhaps.

I am just looking forward to an owner with a soul. Maybe I need to be pickier, but that is the most important quality I want to see in a new owner.

I dont see Redskins ever coming back as team sponsorship has soared since the name change. Warriors would be cool, but honestly it's not a big deal to me. I still call them the Skins.

What would be a big deal to me is if the new owner brought back the championship uniforms, the championship helmets with the gold and white stripes, and they can keep the W.

I need to turn on my TV and SEE the Redskins again.

No objections here.
Just posted in the other thread that Forbes is reporting that 4 groups have already contacted Dan/Bank of America about buying the team. 4 offers/calls in 24 hours makes me think this is getting done sooner rather than later.

I am guessing it will be a group rather than just one person but who knows?

I agree, I almost want a very successful business person who will hire the right people to do the job. You bring up an excellent point: talent evaluation. The owner needs to spot the right talent, hire them, and then get the heck out of the way.

Seems most of the names are currently owners of other teams. Maybe an owner with a proven track record of owning other successful teams is what we want. That group who own the dodgers has been amazing.

I definitely think we are getting a new name. Just not sure what it will be. Snyder is connected to sexual misconduct which means the Commanders are connected to that.
