Yeah I obviously wasn't talking about keeping up a homer or more a game pace like he's had the last two days(5 homers in two games).. But do you think he has a shot at 35+ Homers and 110+ RBIs this year? All while posting a slash like of something like 280/400/920 this season? Seems very possible and much better than just a solid year..

Yep, and he played well towards the end of last year (.305 AVG, 9 HR, .861 OPS last 43 games of 2014), so when combined with this year, he's been on a roll for quite some time.

That was a little weird. But he was, what, 18 at the time? We also don't know the whole story. I could imagine that some pitchers he faced/faces are gunning for him, so maybe some of that was at play.

Regardless, all I've seen from him in the majors is a talented kid who seems to bust his ass.

I think the negativity has more to do with the kid is just pretty easy to dislike. He's an arrogant, self obsorbed SOB with a stupid haircut. Plus he already has two undeserving all star appearances.

Can you provide any references to support that he's arrogant and self obsorbed? I'm not saying they don't exist, I just haven't seen them.

He does have a stupid haircut, but I'm a baseball fan, not a hairstylist, so I don't really give a shit about that.

As far as undeserving all-star appearances, there's no such thing. The all-star game is for the fans, and players are selected by fan votes.

I think he's a talented dude, with a lot of pressure to be a superstar. He might be turning a corner this year.
