Bruins vs Pens PGT

That's pre for pregame thread. I consider this a big game. Even though they're not division rivals, the Bruins may have to go through them to reach the SCF. I was shocked to see the Pens are the most penalized team in the league. I guess the conspiracy between the Pens and Bettman is over huh?

Keep in mind most of those penalties are from fights (not sure if they're still #1 for that, but they were for awhile), but they make BAD choices. They're stupid sometimes...downright stupid. Geno takes a lot of those types. Anyway, I think it's sort of the Pens...turn. After two downright collapses, I think it's just our time now. Normally things tend to even out, and Geno seems to be playing better, as well as Staal. Interesting note: this morning Ray Shero said he was going to talk to the media, then after waiting, the media was informed he would not be talking with them. Then, this evening, Jeffery was recalled again to go to Boston (according to his family, via EmptyNetters). Curious?

Penguins can credit a lot of those PIM to fighting majors, hell Englland himself had 10 scraps so far! I agree this is going to be a great game, Can't wait.

Thanks Hawaiian, I know we held the title momentarily. That said, Engo has been limited in starts over the course of the past few weeks and because we've been playing behind and more focused on scoring the fights have been limited.

I'm definitely up and eager for the game. It's always tough to watch these games against the Pens because I'm never sure which B's team is going to show up, the one that plays the full 60, or the one that falls a lot, misses passes as well as assignments, and rings the puck off every post in the arena :p.

Looks like Lucic is still out as well as Ference. Stuart might be cleared to play but it's unlikely. Of course Crosby is out for the Pens. Should be an interesting match.
