I long ago stopped trying to figure out refs. They all suck in my mind every game. They will let a blatant penalty go and than call some lame interference call that had no bearing on the play.

Talk about a stat I didn't know. We're 3rd in the NHL in shots per game, lol. Sure as hell doesn't seem like it. But the 2.54 goals a game does make sense.

That's a lot of shots on goal to only average 2.5 goals a game. Or they are just facing some really elite goaltending in the Eastern Conference.
