I have a horrible feeling about this game. We need 2007-08 Geno, because he was insane without Sid then...but he had better linemates. Some days I miss Petr Gun. Some days...I'm fully expecting a loss tonight unless Fleury stands on his head. He really wasn't to blame last game...we just couldn't get anything going.

DJ's on his way up. Interested to see where they put him though. Lineup for tonight IS different. Geno's back to center up on the first line with Duper and Koon. Staal is back with his buddies TK and Cooke. I don't like not giving Geno/Staal a longer look, but with Sid out gotta get the work done somehow, and having those two together gave us NO depth.

Also, the Penguins have no depth. I don't see how they can win without Crosby, especially against a goalie like Thomas. 2-0 Bruins is my prediction, but I sure hope I'm wrong.

I think it's time to bring Jeffrey back up and get rid of Kennedy. He had one good game on Staal's wing opposite Malkin, but other than that, he's been foolish with the puck a lot this season, and he doesn't play good enough defense or score enough goals to atone for it. Jeffrey at least looks like he knows what he's doing out there.

TK still has value...but with Engo assuming his role as an enforcer, we don't need Godard anymore. TK...well, from preseason on I supported getting rid of him, but I think he sticks around until deadline day, then he might be a salary dump/throw in type player.

TK has value to another team because of his speed, but the Penguins have decent team speed already and need players who can play a more complete game. They don't have enough size up front, and TK certainly doesn't add that. Throw in the fact that Conner is essentially the same player (but more talented, in my opinion, as well as cheaper) than Kennedy, and he becomes redundant.
