The Dallas Stars traded Jaromir Jagr to the Boston Bruins for a pair of prospects and a conditional draft pick on Tuesday. Dallas received forwards Lane MacDermid and Cody Payne, along with a conditional second-round pick in the 2013 draft. The pick will become a first-round selection if Boston advances to the Eastern Conference finals in this year's playoffs. I think the price was pretty good as we kept some of our better prospects.

This will really up the storylines if Pens and Bruins meet in the playoffs! Good signing IMO.

What happens if Cooke catches Jagr in the trolley tracks with his head down?

I have to admit for a 41 y/o he's still a hell of a player. I see Claude moving Lucic's fat, plodding ass to the 3rd line now. I like Lucic, I really do, but lately he's skated like he's skating in mud, and hasn't been nearly as physical as in years past. When Subban took that run with the flying elbow last week Lucic should have kicked his ass but proper right then and there to teach that bitch a lesson.

Well, he plays for the Pens so.............................nothing, and you can bet Mario won't be crying for changes to be made either.

Neely was on Sports Radio today and said he does not know where Jagr will be playing but he also said that Krejci, Horton and Lucic seem to have found their stride. Bergy, Seguin and Marchy are rock solid so does Jagr play on the 3rd line??

Horton has finally got some goals but he is so streaky. Lucic has been playing fine. He leads the team in hits as always. If I had to make the choice it would be Horton. Plus that is Jagr's position.

Tough call I will admit and Claude best not screw with Bergy's line.

I, for one, have booked my rings and ordered my parade.

He did win a Cup only 20 short years ago. :D

I am still desperately hoping for a Pens/Broons series. In the first round.

Does anyone else think that the Stars have set themselves up nicely by adding all these young players and picks. Also they now have a real shot of dropping into the bottom 3.
