Dom Brown puts Ryno under the bus. He said a lot of guys were not on the same page last year.
Players were not running balls out and taking the extra base when they should have.
I wonder if he included himself? I still think that Ryno is a weak manager. Also I wonder about Larry Bowa as well. Where is the fire? This team needs to get exiting again1

I think you meant to say "exciting", but in the cases of Hamels, Lee and a couple others, they may be "exiting"

Yes, I meant exciting. I hope that Hamels will stay. Lee can leave if he gets healthy since he is getting older. We will have to eat a portion of his salary and settle for middle type prospects in a trade. I want to see this team put the ball in play and run the bases like they want to win. They must be taught to shorten up their swing when runners are on base. and with 2 strikes as well. Moving runners helps the scoring process.

"They must be taught...." lolol! dude, these are major league players! Little league, high school, college, maybe minor leagues they are taught over and over to:
"put the ball in play"
"run the bases like they want to win"
"shorten up their swing"
"moving runners" to help the scoring process

The last thing I read about Lee and the Red Sox was on NJ.com and included this paragraph

"It is unlikely that Lee would fetch the kind of return laden with blue chip prospects that Hamels would in a trade. Bringing Victorino back for a second go-round would provide outfield stability and certainly be a move hailed by the fanbase."

Is everyone in the media delusional? Shane Victorino is one of my favorite players of all time but moving Cliff Lee to get him back instead of getting some prospects is a move that I really don't think would be "hailed by the fanbase". I'm not that concerned with stabilizing the outfield for this season if that means not getting anyone that can help in the future. I'd rather try to get some prospects other than Swihart or Betts like Sean Coyle. I'd even take a chance on Bradley.

If they all performed as they should we would not need coaches or managers. Except to make out a lineup. What
brown was referring to is the fact that there were to many times it did not happen. Thus the coaching staff needs to stay on top of them!

I knew this potential trade of Hamels to Boston is really about bringing back Victorino. Braindead has this obsession for bringing in aging Phillies. Don't have a clue as to why. The next thing he'll do is give V a big ridiculous contract and on we will go in the same stupid cycle of being stuck.

Dom is a lame brain. Yeah, that's it, too many babies in the clubhouse. I still can't figure out why he'll be making $4 million.
