One thing I can say is Ellington doesnt scare me at all returning punts and kicks, First time in years maybe decades since i trust the guy back there.

Yeah losing Rogers and Brown will hurt, not so much their talent but they're experience. The biggest loss is probably Bowman and not Aldon if you ask me. Bowman was pretty solid on passing downs and reminds me of a former niner in Lee Woodall who was good in playing the pass. But damn, neither Wilhoite nor Borland inspire much confidence on passing defense, Borland especially.

My concerns watching this game from the first unit was the lack of pass rush. Culliver didn't look very good either. The offensive line was porous also. Hope it gets better when all starters are back.

I'm sure it comes down to that they aren't as assignment sound as TJE and Dobbs but they'll easily overtake them once they have the mental game down pat.

Don't think I've ever seen Dobbs make an impact full play on defense.
