Air your grievances -

Here's Mine:

1) When you have a legend and a promising replacement on the bench - invest in the Oline - with money and coaches. It was as if Kubiak and gang were saying - we'll take care of that - no worries - based on our history - these other things we weren't so good at need time and resources first.

2) What do they do - look away when Colquitt is punting? What I see is a lackadaisical leg - I don't know if it is shot or in need of medical repair. The frustrating thing is - he used to be good - not to the level of his brothers or dad - but good at distance - inside the twenty - punting away from guys - he punted like he cared about the result, but that was 3 years ago or more. He's punting - and not well - into strategic disaster - time and time again.

3) I'll say this about John Elway - as a QB - he went for the high risk - high reward kind of play - when the game was on the line. He was great enough - that he cashed in on the risk of his throws, or scrambles at a HOF rate. Big time players - make big time plays - in big games (Dan Reeves) - Why not find out if Oz has the potential - to cash in high risk plays? - What is there to lose? Oz can game manage - he's proved he can master a game plan. Right now - the Broncos need to trust Oz and let he try to make plays. The have over corrected on the conservative decision making. Like Phillips does with the defense - tell Oz if a play can be made - go for it.

4) I appeal to the Gods of Justice - that 75% of all payroll to offensive coaches and players - be remitted instead to the defensive players and coaches in equal measure - Until further notice.

5) Resign Malik Jackson - he has been money all season. Playing smarter too.

6) D. Thomas???? - read the newspapers! - There's a kid roping a ball toward you at breakneck speed and you can even run under his passes and catch them in stride - that's the formula to get your legend back on track. The precise route and feathered ball - are no longer what's going on. And race back toward Oz when he scrambles...

I should add in the case for Vigil Green - who has been eclipsed by the acquisition of
Vernon "I'll drop them if I want to" Davis.

My biggest grievance has to be with Michael Schofield. There has to be somebody somewhere that can do a better job than him. I mean there are plays where he doesn't even touch the guy and just gives him a free path to Osweiler. I'm starting to think Tom Brady called up Schofield since they are part of the same alma mater and told him to try and throw the Broncos season.

Ever since this thread started I was waiting for the classic 58Crash "We need a good OL Coach" comment.

cdumler7 you are good at looking up stuff .. Was Clancy any good the first time around ? I get it he was faced with a hell of a mess I Get that ... I just don't see a Gibbs coached OL faltering this much .. If all goes well I can see Clancy doing just fine ... but when is that in the NFL you need a fire to be a NFL OL Coach this I don't see ..

Our Half time Adjustments was owned by Alex Gibbs ..This year we was owned by other teams half time ...

I'm not disagreeing with you one bit that we need an upgrade at the OLine coach. The OL we have put out has been a down right embarrassment and maybe the worst we have ever had. With that being the case then coaching has to come into question. Now I am not willing to put all of this one him as I do think it is a combination of injuries, too much youth on the OL (that one is on Elway), and a scheme change twice now from what we worked on in training camp to what we switched to in week 2 of the NFL season to what we changed back to when Osweiler took over. Too much change usually leads to inconsistency.

We bitched for years about DL and them not getting Developed and being crap .. well look at them this year ..

Before someone starts craping on them for recent think about how many starters and back ups have been out

I agree .. I don't blame the players or so much Clancy as to being here next year just not as the OL Coach is all

Going to be interesting to see what they do coaching wise after this season. My guess is we have a pretty similar staff next year. Phillips already knows he doesn't make a great HC so I think he is just fine staying as DC in Denver. Kubiak is obviously not going anywhere and I can't see anybody wanting Dennison for HC with the offense we have put on the field this year. I doubt Clancy is gone either. HE has been with the team now through 3 regimes so it seems like Denver really likes him. I'm always willing to give guys 2 years to prove what they can do. With all the changes that have gone on my guess is he is given another year to see if he can whip this group into shape. Also have to see what all they do this off season to help fix all of these issues.

You are right this one is on Elway . 100% he played behind some of the worst OL ever ..so you would think those OL of 97,98,99 would of rubbed off on his mind and would of made that a little more priority with a Coach that has produced at least in top 5 in the NFL and showed consistency ..

Hmmm... If Denver doesn't play well on offensive side of ball from here out, Elway will be one pissed off dude and I don't think any coach on that side of ball will feel safe.

Last night I was reminded of one of my biggest complaints/frustrations - Hillman. Why CJ doesn't get the majority of the touches is beyond me. Is he hurt? Likely, but if he's available to play, I'd like to see him as the feature back and Hillman as the change of pace back.

I think you will see that more in the playoffs. It does seem like the team has him on a pitch count as it seems like every week CJ adds another injury to his body. I would much rather see him on a pitch count now then hope he can hold up for the playoffs and let him run wild.

CJ came very close to being the goat this week. I still like Hillman.

It doesn't mean much if you fumble with the game on the line.

I kind of give them a small break when they get knocked out .. Even though Easy Ed held on to the football with a broken leg ...

You know it had to be weird as all hell being in NY hospital that next morning with your leg broke and no good way to get up and building falling to the ground ..
