No dad, actually I have appreciated your MOD skills (for many years) until now. I have been posting (not as often as most) for years. Like, before Shark even went back to school. (2007-2008?) The reason I don't post as much is the constant attacks, name calling, immature etc BS that many posters stoop down too. It get's really old which is why I skip such interaction about many post because its not worth my time. I love to talk Redskins football, period. What skinsdad and Shark are doing to Alex Smith on this board is inexcusable in my book. Every Skins fan should take notice of it. That is our new QB. Fair? It seems Cousins camp was offended, decided to no longer negotiate leaving the Skins in the inevitable situation. Again, expectations not met from anyone's prospective. Alot was invested in Coisins regardless of BA. Everyone with half a foot all brain wanted Cousins here LT. Expectations decimated as a skins fan. We all know how it feels to lose what appears to be a franchise QB about shine for another team. Sucks, you and others have expressed. I'm choosing to move on. You and others seem to misunderstand the last part of your statement. We are “embracing” the fact that Alex Smith is our new QB. Embracing does not mean put blinders on and change our expectations of what it means to have Smith here. Our expectations of Alex Smith on this team are less than our expectations of Kirk Cousins coming back here and about equal or worse to signing a FA QB.

When the season starts, we will be cheering for the Redskins, which includes Smith. There is one way to change our expectations and that is to win on the field. Our expectations can be raised in the draft and FA as well, and I expect they may. I expect BA to spend every last dime he can and even create room Vinny Cerrato this offseason. BA will want to look competent and justified in his handling of KC, which is why he did the Smith trade and extension in the first place. I think he chose the wrong QB though. I fully expect us to make a run at Bell when this draft is load3d with RBs. I fully expect us to make a run at Wilkerson and Talib. All those guys improve our team but at future cost. That is the problem I see coming.
