Mayfield will probably be on the South. Allen on the North.
Wentz went crazy in the Senior Bowl.

Broncos put in a request to have Mayfield on their squad and the Texans agreed to that decision. The Senior Bowl staff still have to agree to it but sounds like a good chance Mayfield is on their North Roster.

Here is an interesting Mock I found:
Denver Broncos 2018 Mock Draft: 7 Rounds

Not sure it is accurate anymore as it sounds like Williams is sliding. Mayfield may not make it to the 2nd either. Interesting picks, have not read most of the slides though.

Well for where players were ranked when that came out it would be an incredible draft. Connor Williams is expected to go top-10 as is Baker Mayfield now. Vita Vea is expected to go in the 1st round and Will Hernandez should be right on the edge of 1st or 2nd round. Dallas Goedart is expected to go in the 2nd if he tests well at the combine. So I would say as of right now not a realistic draft but would be incredible if this is how it played out.

Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, Kamryn Pettway all declared.

No surprises but just thought it was worth saying it is official.

Is it me or is reading/doing mock drafts such a thing of the past?

Everyone and their dog has one and they make me yawn there are so many out there. I use to love to do them but they have really become a thing of the past..

UCLA WR Jordan Lasley declared tonight.

A key member of my college fantasy squad this year.

Not surprised of him declaring with the way he ended the season after Darren Andrews got hurt, plus Josh Rosen going and a change in the offensive scheme.

My guess is middle round guy, depends on how he works out. Not elite tools but good production. Catches the ball well, runs well. I'd guess currently a 4th round grade. Will move up or down with workouts. Could have used another year to fine polish his game but understandable that he is declaring with the factors I mentioned above. He does have some off field baggage, suspended twice this year for 4 total games which was never exactly released the details of those suspensions but the rumors are fighting with teammates during practice and being late to meetings. Immature stuff he can rebound from.

Speaking of which

The Bills already cut Lorenzo Doss.

I still look at them, but I look at them as a group rather than paying attention to any particular one or small group. SB Nation does a consensus mock every year and they update it more and more frequently as we get closer and closer to the date of the draft. It contains the most interesting data set to me.

I was watching a video on Brandon Perna's That's Good Sports channel on YouTube and, if you are unfamiliar, he runs graphics in the corner above his shoulder while he talks. One of them was a pic of John Elway with text that said something like "can I find the one who can do what I did?" or something like that.

His last two higher end QB choices have crapped out. None of the QB's that I've seen - that the Broncos could get in the draft - look like anything anywhere near close to a sure thing. Of course it is unreasonable to think that we can find another John Elway. And I'm not impressed with our scouting in general. But can John Elway build an O-Line as effective as the one he won Superbowls with?

It's not like they've been hitting on O-Line prospects either. Draft or Free Agency. But I do think we've got something good going with Bolles, Paradis, Leary, and maybe McGovern. Maybe even Watson as he seemed to be coming along better before he was injured. And maybe McGovern is the Center that we need rather than Paradis. I don't know. But we could use a "sure thing" on the O-Line. That's Quenton Nelson, the guard from Notre Dame. I'm leaning more and more towards Nelson in the first round, the best OT available in the second round, and a FA QB with some experience so our coaching staff can just plug him in behind an improved line.

Oh, before I forget @58crash , we used our #2 pick on a pass rushing Defensive End last year. We just put him out of position and then benched him because we didn't think he played well enough on Special Teams. He looked pretty good against Kansas City when we lined him up where he was supposed to be. I think he's going to have an impact next year.

Also declaring

Auburn OLB Jeffery Holland
Virginia Tech DT Tim Settle
ASU DL Joseph Wicker

Florida OLB/DE Cece Jefferson smartly is staying in school. Loads of upside needs another year.

Settle had a big year as a RS SOPH. I thought he might come back for one more year as he has two remaining... But he is def a prospect to watch as he had a great year. Dominated in a few games.

Holland is a bit overrated in my book depending on his projection. I've seen some say he is a top 15. I don't see it.

For the record @Dr Cyanide 28 I do enjoy the stuff you send me to look at. Keep it up. I think knowing you or anyone from this board personally makes it different..

It's the 100 mocks and opinions I see of other random fans that bore me. lol

I seen his sack .. If Wolf Retires we will be desperate .

Also we got away with okay DE because of Ware I am no way sold on the turd we replaced him with . So yes I want a man of men if we can draft a Dominant DE .
