He's lucky to be only getting 3 years. Had he not had awesome lawyers hired by his dad and/or the Chiefs, he's probably doing the full 7.

That's a pretty fucked up thing to say about Reid. Sometimes people are just fucked up in the head.

Look at the Menendez brothers. They murdered their mom & dad. Does that mean they were bad parents?

Each brother has gotten married in prison to women on the outside. Lets be clear, ...Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are the media darlings of the NFL.
ESPN and the networks act more the Chiefs PR team then anything else.

When the Chiefs lost the SB, what did ESPN have to say "Dynasty Delayed"
Nothing they do can or will be criticized ...including having a teamed named the "Chiefs"

All this said, The Britt Reid case has be kept (relatively) out of the headlines because this is the Kansas City Chiefs.

Could you imagine if he was the son of the coach for Washington or Tampa Bay?
Had Britt Reid been on one of those media punching bag teams ....the media scrutiny would have put 10 times the pressure on the
prosecution to give him a hell of a lot more than just 3 years.

But it's the Chiefs ...and they are protected.
