Carl Edwards appears to have something for Harvick tonight.

Its interesting that NASCAR removed the rule to get all five lug nuts tight before leaving the pits and teams think they can race with one or two lugs loose or missing. Some of the Hendricks teams must believe this because they continue to have to return to the pits to get loose lugs tight most notably Earnhardt Jr. in several races now.

I was hoping Harvick would give Biffle the old chrome horn. He was definitely holding him up.

Time for rain tires.

Formula 1 does it what's the problem. The crowd is there, they are wet, so if the race is still exciting they'll be back next yr. You tease them, then make them take off work to come back the next day and cant complete the race cause it rains again. They ain't coming back. Rain tires, so the cars are going 25 mph slower, but they all are and it could still be a great race. Remember when it took 3 days to do the Firecraker 400? Had it not been for the excitement of Montoya hunting down and killing that jet dryer I would have demanded a refund. Need rain tires, I'm not talking huge downpours, but a light steady rain. It could even be a more exciting race seeing who has real driving talent, instead only point and shoot slot car when the car is dialed in. I bet that's when you see the true artist like Stewart, Kurt Bush, or a Robby Gordon really take everyone else to school.

Everyone uses rain tires except this series and NHRA drag racing. The XFinity series even uses rain tires and wipers.

They act like Kenseth lost 10 spots on pit road. He went from 6th to 7th.

Rain tires would wear out in 10 laps with a heavy stock car at a high banked oval. It's been covered 1000 times. It would work for road courses(the only races the Busch Series uses them), but they wouldn't work at most ovals. And the cost would be prohibitive for the low budget teams.

That was the Daytona 500 when Montoya took out the jet dryer, and they finished it prime time on Monday night and it broke ratings records for NASCAR.

Under caution for light rain. They went halfway. Maybe they call this one and give the win to Edwards.

And with races like this, the wait is worth it. Night racing at Bristol>day racing at Bristol.

Red flagged again. Should be a brief one though.

A statement of fact warrants a rainbow rating I guess.

Junior went from 4 laps down to just 1.

Not impossible to get back on the lead lap and finish top 15 or so

He'll get a free pass, or if the cautions fly at the right time, he might take a wave around.

I have a feeling this will be a Harvick and Johnson show at the end again.
