I hope we keep Ben DiNucci. Let him grow & get better over Rush & others. If the rookie makes the squad also even better.

Dinucci is not an NFL caliber QB. If he is our back-up, we won't win a game if he has to play IMO

Yeah ,he was bad in that game against the Eagles . What I dont get is Gilbert played better against the Steelers than Dalton would have. I think Gilbert would have beat the eagles. Only needed a few throws. Denucci could not throw it accurately past 2 yards I would just keep Gilbert as #2 and Denucii as #3 or practice squad.

None of our backs up can carry their weight. Going with a guy proven to not be able too, vs. a young guy that hasnt proven they cant yet, isnt a good thing. Rather have a young learning guy vs. a vet backup that will go 1-9 if forced to play. I dont over read into how the rookie play as a starter in his 1st year. he will either learn & improve in practice or be cut.
Having a worthless vet just to have a vet is stupid IMO.
If we are gonna lose games. Might as well pay less.
At least a young guy has a possible unknown upside.
