Nelson vs. Locke
Lohse vs. Worley
Garza vs. Cole

Two teams off to a rough start hope to get it going. Let's hope the bats wake up. I, for one, hate these guys. Let's go Bucs!

1-2-3 first for Worley, who switched starts with Locke this weekend. Ground ball, strike out, fly out.

Not much of a fight from the Buccos in the bottom of the first.

Worley in a bit of a jam after a double by Davis.

And a groundout brings in the first run of the game for the Brewers.

Worley's command/location has been very good. Lind drew a walk against him, but only after fouling off a lot of borderline pitches, and Davis's double was a nice piece of hitting on an 0-2 pitch off the plate away, basically right where Cervelli called for it.

Third strikeout for Worley ends the 2nd. 1 across for the Brewers.

Leadoff double for McCutchen, but Pedro goes down swinging. Nelson was right on the edges the whole at bat, got him with a curve on the outside edge. Would have been a strike with or without a swing.

He's been locating well, too. We could be in for a finesse pitcher duel.

Nelson's living at the bottom of the zone, but the Bucs are really having trouble getting under/through the ball. They need some lift. Too many grounders and choppers.

First and third for the Buccos with Cutch at the dish.

McCutchen with a groundout and an RBI, and Polanco, who was going, goes first to third. Great baserunning by the youngster.

Extremely bad luck there. Alvarez smoked a ball, low and hard, but right at Ramirez, and Polanco was already too far off the base from his lead to even have a chance to get back. Double play ends the inning.

It's a shame that line drive went right to Ramirez and didn't at least hit the ground, because I was so impressed with Polanco taking third on that McCutchen groundout, and I would have loved for it to have turned into a run.

He's been looking better at the dish lately, even though he hasn't been getting the results necessarily. Lots more hard-hit balls in the last several games. Once those start finding holes, he's going to be a very good player.

I also kind of like Cutch in the cleanup spot. I wonder if they'll consider hitting Walker second or third and leaving Cutch there. I would prefer him batting second, but fourth is better than third.

All of the tools are there. Just a matter of putting them together. I can't imagine having a better outfield than this.
