I have only one blowoff tube by the way. I'm a bit concerned.

I think you'll be okay, but if either of them were to blow, my guess would be the English. Could just be the angle I'm seeing, but it looks like it has less head space and was very active to begin with.

I haven't had a blow off yet making high OG beers, but I also use a 7 gallon bucket originally intended for wines.

nice, were these extract brews? two AG's in a day seems like it would be quite ambitious!

hope neither blow their lid on you, I started getting worried last night with my coconut curry hefe, i've noticed as i walk by that the rubber stopper is creeping its way up, but not to the extent that yours are sticking out.

I've only had one shoot its top off in my years of brewing, wasnt as bad as i expected...recapped it, beer turned out fine. wasnt a huge mess to clean up...the hardest part was finding the stopper, which had shot to the other side of the room

The IPA stopper looks up considerably more.

The english ale fell back in. That was quick! I hope it didn't quit too soon.

They were both extracts "kits" that I supplemented with partial mashes. So it did take quite awhile since the partial mash still takes a long time.

The partial mash was their specialty grain provided (just some crystal in both) along with 3/4 pound of 2-row and 1/4 pound of carapils for head retention.
