every walk/single is a double and sometimes a triple.

McKenry was horrendous last night, not that AJ was great at holding guys on, but I distinctly remember two times a decent throw gets the runner.

Also, ball wasn't carrying at all last night, anything in the air was going to be an out.

For sure two didn't, I think he had a infield single to short, and one was a chopper that AJ misplayed. I believe he got sawed off, the bat exploded, and it was a hit, not sure where it landed though.

So yea, he didn't hit any well, didn't beat out any throws, and still got three hits.

His first one landed in right field, about 20 feet out. It wasn't hit hard enough to carry to Snider, but just barely hard enough to clear Walker.

I understand waiting a couple days on a stiff neck but this is getting ridiculous.

Tony Sanchez is a good defensive catcher. Call him up & let him play some games because, the Fort couldn't throw out me!

Oh thank God. Martin's back in. But again with Tabata and Jones getting a start on the same day (like Snider and Sanchez last night). It makes no sense. If you're going to platoon those guys, platoon them correctly.

How far are we from giving Tabata another crack at RF full time?

tabata seems to be willing to turn on the inside pitch more and drive the ball instead of being a defensive inside out swing to RF.

he is still so young and has a powerful body if he got a little lift to his swing.
he has the tools for RF as well.

I'm ready, but Snider is still having a decent season, too. They bring different things to the table, but right now Tabata really looks to be getting it at the plate.

And that first inning was almost awesome for us. Cutch and Pedro didn't miss their fly balls by much.
