I don't know how Love is going to see the field. The top 2 guys in the backfield are probably going to be Guice and Gibson.

I going to write this knowing very well that there's going to be a lot of disagreement.

Bryce Love, healthy and raring to go is much better than both of them. People forget that prior to his injury, Love was a Heisman candidate in a world where it's rare to be mentioned for that award if you're not a QB.

If was the case why draft Gibson? How does Love see the field? Does Ap get cut?

Bryce Love played his high school football in my backyard at Wake Forest/Rolesville High School and I was fortunate enough to get to see him play many times. The kid could do it all at that level and most of it when he went to Stanford until that horrible injury. You have no idea how much I am cheering for this guy in a Redskins uniform!

Gipson is probably insurance, but will make the team because he is insurance. That means Peterson is the odd man out.
In this instance you get insurance in the event of loss to the younger guys and as the replacement for the previous insurance guy... Peterson.

I'm with you man! I didn't have the good fortune to see him play in high school, but as previously mentioned in other threads, Stanford is one of 10 college teams that I consistently follow. I'm pulling for him as well and hope that Washington's gamble to draft him, sit him as he (hopefully) healed, completely regained his Heisman level form, and becomes the steal of that draft, pays off.

I don't think that people understand, or perhaps they have forgotten because of his strong contributions to the team... Adrian Peterson was signed as insurance against injury. The team cashed in on that insurance and it has paid handsomely but it's still insurance.

IF healed and healthy and whenever the NFL begins play again, I feel confident in telling you that we will have many Sunday afternoons with smiles on our faces watching Bryce Love run, catch, and block with the best of them.

guice has played 5 games out of 32 . so loves role would be bell cow not 3rd down back

then that means Ap gets cut. Guice, Love, barber and Jd. Im counting Gibson as a WR. tmac,Sims, Gibson, harmon, Agg, and 6th Wr. AP is going to need a injury from the RB's to stick. Do you agree?

Sims because who else besides McLaurin is going to catch passes?

on defense Sweat. Hoping he breaks through for 7+ sacks.

Yes, if Love is back, fully healthy and raring to do go.

Do you think before you post? Sweat had seven sacks as a rookie. How is it a break through to match it?

Ok, Love had (1) GREAT season at Stanford I'll give you that but...notta since then. Guice (in person) tore up the Panthers and RR was a witness. Guice, Peterson & Gibson will see the field before Love this season imo.
