I think that all plays into why Brady got a larger penalty, plus I think the Pats recent shady history didn't help either. I think you're right, if Brady had owned up and fully cooperated with the investigation he would have only been fined. By dragging it out and giving the NFL a bad image he incurred a much larger penalty.

Tin-foil hats are for people who believe in things that don't actually happen. The years upon years of deliberate, repeated, continual cheating by Belichick actually happened. He did it with impunity. That's why he's a disgrace & should be Pete-Rosed from the NFL permanently.

Literally any other team in the league would have faced just such a thing (justice). However, in this case you have a scumbag owner who buys whatever he wants, including serial killers and prostitutes who disgrace his poor dead wife's legacy.

May God have mercy on his disgraceful soul. I yearn for an NFL free of his horrible influence and the culture he fosters.

I'm in no way, shape, or form advocating for the NFL, or endorsing Gooddell and his buffoonery... but, Tommy Bundchen just needs to own up, cut his losses, and put this behind him....unless of course he chooses to remain clueless and in total denial. Same goes for the Cheatriots and their slimy owner.

That's true. Cheating is cheating, but the Patriots' cheating was about a million times worse than what any other team's been caught doing (at least teams who have won Super Bowls). Teams have been caught cheating the cap, using PEDs and so on, but Belichick would literally send people in NFL-Films outfits to get info' on the other team. It was cheating on a conspiratorial, organizational level (not to diminish the individual cheating).
