At this point I've mentally prepared myself to plan on the tournament not taking place. Tomorrow and next Thursday(and Friday) are the best days during the college basketball season. What a bummer.

I don't know man. This is a little different than the NBA. This basically floats entire athletic budgets. The NBA lives for the playoffs and those are likely to still go on

All it takes is one player to contract the rona when the ncaa mandated they play on...they be dumb to take on that liability

When/if they cancel it.

His statement was that the NCAA would get no revenue from empty arenas.

Because as everybody knows - the biggest NCAA fans are geriatrics and sick kids. Good move!

Absolute joke. Gonna be real fun seeing teams play with no noise of any sort. They probably won’t be able to take it serious. Be hard to get up for a game and amped up after a big play when it’s all crickets

When the going gets tough, the liberals freak out and go into hiding like the helpless children they are.

99.7% survival rate under 50 and how many “hundreds” of Americans have this again? When a bad flu season kills 80,000 Americans. Guess we should never have fans at sporting events according to your logic.

Well i guess go ahead and go out and get the virus since you feel all good about it. Go ahead and spread it to your kids, parents, and grandparents without knowing. Then feel good about putting your family at risk because you're to ignorant in understanding the difference between the flu and covid-19 dangers.

What happens when MLB starts
I think MLB will postpone the start of the season till late April or early May.
The NCAA tourney will get postponed or cancelled. The NFL draft will be done remotely.

It's (mostly) not about the people in the stands getting sick. It's those 40,000 people leaving the stadium and spreading it back to their home communities...which presumably have plenty of the aforementioned at risk groups.

With the snowflake mentality in this world, we should close all business and cities for a good week. Everyone stay home. Yay lol
