I mentioned in an earlier thread that I'll break down some Kings stats. We'll start by showing the Kings record in 10 game increments.
First 10 Games: 6-2-2
Games 11-20: 5-3-2
Games 21-30: 4-5-1
Games 31-40: 4-2-4
Games 41-50: 2-5-3
Notice that besides the first ten games, this team has not been above a .500 win percentage.
Road Records by Team (I'm going strictly off of # of points, not point % because some teams have played more road games)
30th: Buffalo 5-20-1
29th: Los Angeles 5-11-6
28th: Edmonton 5-13-7
What do Buffalo & Edmonton have in common? They are fighting for the #1 overall pick.
LA is currently tied for 10th in the west in points with Minnesota and Dallas. 1 point behind Colorado for 9th and 5 points behind Calgary for the 8th and final spot. BUT taking tiebreakers into account, LA is 12th out of 14 teams.
I'm going to end my post here because my computer is starting to freeze again. You get the picture. This team is going down, not up.
