The penalty against Brady and the Pats is all for the not cooperating and has nothing to do with the low inflated balls. There is wording in the players union agreement that there can be penalties for no cooperating. It is fact Brady did not cooperate. It is fact he can be punished for that.

I didnt see players not cooperating in this case you mention with Carr.

Plus, it happened in 2006... Who gives a crap? Deflategate brought the situation into the spotlight, and I don't think anyone will get away with it in the future. Hopefully, the NFL will just take care of the balls themselves.

So an article says he instructed them to take a little air out of the balls in a place that is at high altitude where the same pressure felt more dense means he did so after the refs had already inspected them and he said to take them under the legal limit.

Unless you can show what his normal preference was and whether or not that was done AFTER the refs inspected them, this is a dog a pony show at best. And just more desperate attempts at the only defense the Pats seem to have....

If he preferred his balls at 13 he could well have meant make them more toward 12.5 when in Denver to counter they way they feel. That is far more logical than saying wait until after the refs inspect them and then drop them below the limit.
