If Teheran keeps pitching like he has, and with his track record and youth, I think we could get a pretty good haul. It wouldn't make any sense to do it before July though.

Only 25 and under team control until 2020.

A much needed good outing for Grilli. Retired all 4 he faced, striking out 2.

With the field conditions, strikeouts are huge. Poor footing and a slick, wet baseball typically isn't a good combo for a defense.

Yea true. That Miller trade was a fleecing but even more so with Miller really struggling this year. Saw has a 6.64 ERA right now.

We fleeced the Dbacks when we essentially got a top prospect in Touki Toussaint for taking on Bronson Arroyo's contract, who we later dumped on the Dodgers.

Bud Norris pitched last night so he's out, I doubt they'd let Tyrelle Jenkins make his MLB debut on 3 days rest. I'm not sure of the rotation status of Lucas Sims in AAA.

A sweep would be nice, but I think throwing Kelly out there as the starting pitcher was pretty well conceding this game. Shame they didn't try to line things up for either Tyrelle Jenkins or Lucas Sims to make their MLB debuts.

I hope so. Kelly is a long reliever at best. There's always the chance Blair gets called back up as well.

We gave up 2 low level pitchers I've never heard of for taking on Brian Matusz's contract(only like 4 million) who we immediately cut, and the 76th overall pick in this year's draft. Solid move IMO. Instead of buying a prospect like we did with Touki Touissaint, we essentially bought a draft pick.
