Awesome news, and he's a very good fielder and deserves it. But you know how GGs often go to guys who can also hit, and not always the very best pure fielders? (cough Jeter cough cough). I think that was a factor here.

I'm really happy that it went to a guy west of the Mississippi (a rare occurrence). There seems to be a bias for east coast teams.

Buster Posey got screwed out of his GG. It was not even close. Molina was not as good at anything other than holding runners on first.

Well that's the other thing about GGs, once guys win a few in a row they pretty much just keep winning them until they are just done.
